Position (needing coverage): Pharmacy Technician
What skills are required: Inpatient, IV training preferred
Is the specific state license required? Yes West Virginia
Dates of Coverage needed: 2/1/2021 – 5/1/2021 or possibly longer
Coverage Hours needed: Primarily Day and Evening Shifts, the pharmacy is open 24/7
Is weekend coverage needed? Yes
Order Entry System: Cerner - Experience is preferred. We can provide training
Site Automation: Aesynt/Omnicell Robot Rx, AcuDose ADCs, AcuDose NarcStation – Experience Preferred, but not required. All candidates may be considered
Site Specialty Areas: Critical Care, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, general med / surg,
Job responsibilities: Pick and label medications for pharmacist verification, compound IV’s as necessary, refill automated dispensing cabinets, other duties as assigned.
How many days of training/orientation are required prior to start? Approximately 3 days. CAMC requires completion of orientation remotely prior to start.
Site-specific HR credentials required (i.e. TB, MMR, drug screen, etc): Urine Drug screen, MMR, flu vaccine mandatory, background check, proof of HIPAA training
Will these credentials be needed prior to start, or will the site accept while pending results? Need to be completed prior to start
Dress Code: Professional dress. Scrubs are acceptable. No jeans or T-shirts
