Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Staffs inpatient/outpatient when needed; takes call when needed; creates pharmacist schedules/on-call schedule; approves time cards; reports remdesivir/covid vaccine/monoclonal antibody (forthcoming) usage; leader of P&T/Critical Care committee (creates agenda, presents, takes minutes, follows up on action items) and any pharmacy dept meetings, including huddles. Member of various other meetings: Leadership, daily safety huddle (for drug shortages), monthly Patient Care Leadership, Flu Vaccine meetings, monthly NEAH directors meeting, quarterly QIC, follow up meetings with Simplfi797, McKesson, EnterpriseRx, Turnkey/Spendmend (for 340B HRSA audit preparation), Cerner implementation meetings/IT steering committee. Sends monthly pharmacy and ISMP newsletters, highlighting pertinent topics. May be asked to attend unit practice council, fall risk, ITT (but could probably delegate to another staff pharmacist). Responsible for monthly budget variance reports, budget planning for fiscal year.
