Sales Representative

DESCRIPTION: This position requires the development of sales strategies to attract new broker partnerships in assigned territory, assigned agencies, and the sales team. Will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. Will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with brokers, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services offered. Will also be responsible for researching the competition. Updating CRM often and keeping records accurate are required. Preparing reports monthly and completing quarterly sales audits to calculate the incentive compensation due for the sales team.

JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare monthly sales reports
- "Get the sale" using various customer sales methods (cold calling, presentations, etc.)
- Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness
- Evaluate broker's skills and needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Send handwritten thank-you notes
- Research accounts and generates or follow through sales leads
- Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments and provide feedback/updates on progress being made
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory, including updating CRM regularly with updates/progress of each prospect
- Will meet with brokers/prospects/clients from time to time
- Prepare broker kits/packets as needed for meetings
- Follow all Medcom policies as they relate to privacy and security
- Overtime as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
