Medical Marijuana Master Grower/Manager

Medical Marijuana Master Grower/Manager will oversee all growing and harvesting pharmaceutical grade cannabis plants for extraction for our company. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are safe, up to code, and fully operational. The manager will also be responsible for managing employees, training new employees, and working with third party vendors.

Medical Marijuana Master Grower/Manager and Responsibilities

  • Planning building maintenance and operational programs
  • Managing all vendor contracts
  • Ensuring efficiency of all growing
  • Coordinating site safety programs
  • Preparing operating reports and budgets
  • Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
  • Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met
  • Managing facilities planning and space allocation
  • Preparing cost estimates for moves and equipment
  • Coordinating with department heads and building contractors
  • Managing maintenance of grounds
  • Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
  • Negotiating bids and contracts for third party workers
  • Coordinating building security and maintenance services
  • Managing and supervising all facilities personnel
  • Overseeing all building functions
  • Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules
  • Preparing and filing reports with government and regulatory authorities including environmental permitting

Medical Marijuana Master Grower/Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Follows all company policies and procedures
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals
  • High school degree; bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, business management or related field preferred. Certification in facilities management a plus.
  • Previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field
  • Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
  • Computer skills; may include scheduling with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/sales goals
  • Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check
