Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Physician

A clinic in Connecticut is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Assignment:

Dates: Immediate and Ongoing

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM - Preference 1 Psychiatrist to meet needs of all service line

Onsite Care is required for a portion of the assignment

Client Needs in total 30 hours a week of coverage and will accept up to 3 candidates to be able to get the entire 30 hours covered each week

10 Hours a week is the minimum to be considered for acceptance in a Tele-Psych

Setting: Outpatient

Call: Possible phone calls

Volume: 10 - 15 depends on mix due to being a social service agency (residential program / treatment team once a week / mixture and everything will be put in their calendar in the EMR)

Patient Ages: 3 years old to 21 years of age (inpatient is not as wide in age / outpatient is wider in age range)

Procedures: Consultations, Med Management, Evaluations, Potential Restraints or Referrals to the Hospital

Cases: Anxiety, Worried-Well, and Borderline Schizophrenia - will see a wide range of BH disorders

Support Staff: 24/7 RN/LPN Coverage, Director of Nursing on-site and 2 APRNs

EMR/Charting: Carelogic

Requirements:

Boards: Board Certified; Board Eligible within 5 years

Certifications: DEA
