Our information technology group is looking for a new Business Analystto join their team.

What does the Business Analyst II do?

The Business Analyst II works closely with multiple internal teams and external customers to define and clarify project requirements, evaluates opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes, and assists in the design and implementation of corporate systems used within MedPharm. The Business Analyst II must have experience in regulated laboratory environments and be able to apply analytical/communication skills across many areas including finance, operations, quality assurance, and business development

We are looking for an individual that is innovative, understands the bigger picture, and how systems can improve processes. You should have excellent communication and listening skills, project management abilities, problem-solving skills. You will need to be team oriented but able to work independently and great attention to detail. Experience with NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Active Directory is a plus.

Position Summary

Position title: Business Analyst II

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gathers, analyses and documents user need and requirements and assists technical staff in translating the requirements into systems specifications.
• Perform analysis, review, and estimation of client request.
• Participate in system test reviews, development design reviews, usability studies, status meeting and walkthroughs.
• Design new effective and efficient solutions to meet the business.
• Basic Project Management skills and provide project progress update to project stakeholders.
• Perform current state analysis of existing business systems and applications.
• Must have a working knowledge of computer system validation activities.
• Be able to set up and on-board new users, be familiar with Active Directory and back office computer systems.
• Any other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience or equivalent experience.

Experience/Traits/Skills

• Must have a meticulous approach to work and be highly organized.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Must be able to multitask, manage time efficiently and be able to prioritize.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
