Job Description


Responsible for all activities related to the company’s warehouse including but not limited to supporting inventory management and parts processing. Supports Field Operations with transportation of parts and necessary tools. Manages the warehouse support staff and ensures tasks are completed. 


• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of materials and supplies, as well as inventory maintenance. 

• Process all in and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping. Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match orders and returns. 

• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse staff 

• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required.

• Monitor and oversee the return of defective parts to vendors and the timely processing of refunds and credit exchanges following company policy and procedures required by vendors.

• Package equipment and materials for shipping including wrapping, boxing, and labeling.

• Communicate with field employees regarding work in progress and completed.

• Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary. 

• Assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.

• Observe health and safety regulations and follow all warehouse standard operating procedures, policies, and safety precautions.  

• Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of parts for modifications, preventive maintenance, and general equipment service to field employees, work sites, and customers. 

• Schedule and oversee the delivery and pick up of materials in the Med-Lab territory.

• Stage tools, equipment, and materials for loading and delivery.

• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. 

• Ensure that service tools are monitored and calibrated in accordance with technical guidelines, and that comprehensive records of tool maintenance work are kept.

• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures. 

• Participate in on-call rotation (weekdays and weekends). 

• Interact and coordinate with suppliers, Siemens-Healthineers, and customer representatives regarding logistics issues

• Participate in and maintain training certifications as required by Med-Lab or Siemens-Healthineers. 

• Participate in quality auditing process.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Receive, issue, store and return warehouse stock and supplies 

• Lift, move, sort and store objects 

• Plan and schedule work 

• Document and record information 

• Computer skills in Microsoft Office 


High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with courses in math and computers or supporting combination of education and experience.  Skill in operating a computer, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, plus good oral communication is required. 

Minimum of three years’ experience sufficient to demonstrate knowledge in high volume warehouse and purchasing activities requiring expert customer service.  Demonstrated ability to use computer systems and telephone.  Prior inbound/outbound customer service center experience preferred.  Skills in basic math functions and reasoning ability are highly desired.
