The Manager of Memory Care oversees the day to day operation of the unit and is responsible for training, coaching, counseling, and directing the staff in the Memory Care setting in accordance with company policy and procedures as well as current federal, state, and local regulations and standards. This position oversees individual service plans, monitors documentation compliance and coordinates the functional schedule and activity plan. The Manager works in concert with other departments, outside agencies, families and physicians to ensure coordinated resident care delivery. The ultimate goal of quality resident care is to enable each resident, where possible, to return to the highest level of functioning. Resident care is not passive maintenance; an active approach will always be taken.
