We are currently looking for freelance, Audio, Video, and Lighting Technicians to join our team!

Audio Technicians experienced with:

• Operating modern 32+channel digital audio consoles (Digico, Yamaha, Allen-Heath, Midas, Avid, or other touring-grade manufacturers)
• Operating with line array systems and possessing a general knowledge of speaker placement fundamentals.
• Understanding basic RF theory and wireless microphone operation.
• Positioning (5) or more Lavalier microphones on stage successfully.
• Ability to "EQ" a room successfully to avoid feedback and optimize acoustic performance.
• Performing various other duties assigned by MEI management staff.

Video Technicians experienced with:

• Assembling and programming LED wall systems.
• Knowledge of projection design and mapping.
• Knowledge of live video switching.
• Experienced with current non-linear editing systems (Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer)
• Using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro)
• Knowledge of any CAD/Design Programs (Vectorworks, 3DS Max, Sketchup, Inventor, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Maya)

Lighting Technicians experienced with:

• Programming Grand MA 2 (ETC Smartfade, Roadhog 3)
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, DMX, and signal flow understanding with experience in basic computer/console networking, artnet RDM, and other popular lighting standards.
• Knowledge of lighting fixtures including popular moving heads, uplights, static wash fixtures, etc.
• Rigging of lighting fixtures
• Ability to assemble truss and motors
• Installation of electrical or LED illuminated props in the house or on-site.
• Knowledge of Vectorworks with an ability to create lighting plots, basic load calcs, etc. within the software
