Job Description

Project Controls Manager leads our project controls effort on projects of all sizes and delivery methods, develops project controls staff, and is responsible for developing and executing the Project Controls Plan across the division. Ability to execute the Lead Project Controls Specialist responsibilities is assumed.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a project controls effort on large complex projects
  • Monitor and maintain control of cost performance and revenue through a Project Controls System including earned value management, key performance indicators, and change control
  • Conduct interactive planning meetings and program/project status briefings for internal and external representatives
  • Evaluate contract requirements, identify risk areas, and recommend mitigation plans
  • Oversee deliverables such as progress reports, cost tracking reports and invoicing
  • Oversee document control systems on projects
  • Participate in implementing strategic initiatives
  • Create, implement, and execute project controls plan to support contract requirements and the successful execution of project controls
  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate work of three or more support staff
Qualifications:
  • 16 + years
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • High proficiency in Excel: VLOOKUP, PIVOT tables, and graphing
  • Deltek Vision experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Project or P6
  • PMP or AACE Certification
