Opportunity for a highly qualified Arborist/Business Developer (With a pathway to Branch Manager) to join a premier, industry-leading Tree Care Firmnear the sunny beaches of Naples, FL! This role will be a Branch Manager style role for someone with in-depth expertise in arboriculture.

We are looking for an arborist with solid demonstrable technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and humility. Good plant identification skills is a must, as is fundamental knowledge of soils, insect and disease issues, and tree care.

Job Description

This position will have the potential to earn $100k+ with commissions. The role will be more like a branch manager, but with Arborist and Tree Care Specialist functions included. A solid candidate will serve clients and potential customers by carefully listening to their tree care needs and desires, assessing their trees and landscape, and developing sustainable care solutions in accordance with industry standards and best practices. Sales and Project Management skills are heavily needed. This role will sell the work and supervise the site through to completion in order to achieve maximum efficiency and profit. In addition, they manage a branch-sized team and will work with other staff to see that solutions are implemented according to specifications and quality standards in a timely and profitable manner.

Essential Functions

  • Branch Manager/Executive role with the following duties included:

  • Meet clients and potential customers on site to prepare proposals for tree and plant health care services in accordance with company Standards and best management practices

  • Follow up with clients and potential customers regarding outstanding proposals

  • Communicate service scheduling to client

  • Meet production crews at the job site to ensure jobs are completed per contract, quality standards, and to client's satisfaction

  • Follow up with client to determine client's satisfaction

  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and working with other staff to resolve in a timely manner

  • Follow and model company safety policy at all times

  • Report sales activity to manager

  • Review job profitability and work with other staff to resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Participate in company marketing by providing customer information and contributing to newsletters, marketing campaigns, and social media

  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at company's discretion

  • Sales and Project Management experience required

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • Degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Entomology, Plant Pathology or related field

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

  • Valid Texas Class C driver's license

  • ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain it within 12 months

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Regional landscape plant, insect, and disease identification

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English), preferred

Experience:

3 years of green industry experience
