With over 40 years of experiences in Real Estate Law, the Laurel, MD office of McCabe, Weisberg & Conway has an immediate opening for a full- time transactional Maryland Attorney. MWC is a fast- paced, mid-sized transactional law firm representing mortgage lenders, banks and financial institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia and Florida. MWC specialize in Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation, Evictions, REO, Litigation and Title Claims.
The ideal Attorney will have one year of attorney experience. This role requires a person who is a logical and analytical thinker, must be self-motivated with strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills. This candidate will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively with a high volume of work while working with a team of Legal Assistants and a Team Lead. This role will require the Attorney to travel for Mediations and Status hearing within the state of Maryland.
Maryland state bar license is required. Candidates who are state Bar in VA and / or DC are a plus, but not requirement. Areas of focus for this role will include: Maryland Foreclosure, Docketing, Service, Settlements, Evictions and Title.
