NEMT Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The NEMT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the non-emergency medical transportation services provided by Maxride Inc. The Operations Manager will work closely with the dispatch team, drivers, and clients to ensure the highest level of service is provided to our clients. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing the fleet, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations, and maintaining a safe and efficient transportation system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the non-emergency medical transportation services provided by Maxride Inc.

• Manage the dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient scheduling of drivers and vehicles

• Manage and train drivers to provide the highest level of service to our clients

• Ensure compliance with local and state regulations related to non-emergency medical transportation services

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and quality of the transportation services provided

• Manage the fleet of vehicles, including maintenance and repairs

• Develop and manage the budget for the transportation services department

• Maintain accurate records and reports related to the transportation services provided

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, transportation, logistics, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in non-emergency medical transportation services.

• Knowledge of local and state regulations related to non-emergency medical transportation services

• Understanding of medical transportation, including knowledge of medical equipment and patient care

• Experience in fleet management, including maintenance and repairs

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug test
