Job Summary:
The Director of Operations for PickPoint is responsible for the contracting, planning, implementation, and management of the operations' programs. As a member of the operations team, the director participates in strategic planning, budgeting initiatives and problem solving. He/She works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for delivering quality outcomes for program implementations.

+ Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete contracting, installations, manufacturing and operational projects.
+ Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
+ Hire and train competent staff.
+ Plan, organize, administer, review, and evaluate the activities of staff; provide staff training and professional development; work with employees to develop short and long term goals, monitor accomplishments, and provide coaching for performance improvement and development.
+ Conduct initial and annual performance evaluations.
+ Participate in the development and implementation of the Performance Improvement Program.
+ Provide timely and accurate analyses of budgets, project proposals and business trends in order to assist executive management, the board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
+ Ensure budgeting processes occur and are evaluated during the year.
+ Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
+ Provide technical/professional advice and knowledge to others within the company as requested.
+ Ensure staff is informed of product upgrades or enhancements in a timely manner.
+ Maintain project schedule to determine constraints and/or potential issues.
+ Receive material and track into inventory; track when material is shipped and log it into the shipping log.
+ Manage monthly cycle counts for Pick Point warehouses, as well as offsite warehouses.
+ Compile, maintain and report on the inventory.
+ Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales and Legal on all necessary projects.
+ Ensure positive customer service and follow-up on customer complaints.
+ Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
+ Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
+ Comply with Maxor's Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor's Compliance Program.
+ Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
+ Complete required training and ensure the departmental staff training is completed as required.
+ Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
+ On a biweekly basis, verify departmental timesheets for departmental employees ensuring the timesheets are accurate based on the work-schedule and necessary corrections are done prior to Payroll submission.
+ Responsible for Disaster Recovery of PickPoint Operations, including documentation of all positions, back-up plans, etc.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

Experience: Five to seven years of operations management experience required in manufacturing or the provision of technology products or services. Healthcare experience preferred. Government contracting experience preferred.
