We are recruiting for both Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches in the New England area. 

Description

As a MaxAgility Consultant, you will engage customers to guide them on their Agile transformation journey and build their capability to provide business value with less risk. Your Activities

Depending on the specific client requirement, your responsibilities will vary and may include any to all of the following:

· Help Leadership and/or teams to understand the benefits of maturing their Agile mindset and delivery practices

· Teach, Coach, Mentor and Facilitate both new and experienced Leaders and Teams (Scrum or Kanban) on Agile and/or Lean principles and activities

· Facilitate activities that help foster change and improvement

· Maximize Agile team productivity and performance by assessing Teams and creating Coaching Plans to improve Agile events and inspire the culture to become focused on Continuous Improvement

· Work with Leadership to plan and manage releases across projects, programs and portfolios

· Assist Teams and Leadership in defining and measuring Agile success and maturity

· Coach Leadership through the Agile transformation as their roles shift

· Work with different groups across the Agile Enterprise (e.g., Executives, Leadership, Scrum Masters, Teams, Product Owners/Teams) to help them understand and apply Agile and Lean thinking principles

Requirements

Strong servant leadership skills demonstrating a high level of initiative and ability to thrive in challenging environments

Depending on your role, we are looking for the following:

· Scrum Master: 3 to 5 years of experience facilitating Agile teams in a software development domain. Previous BA experience is highly desirable.

· Agile Coach: 5 to 7 years of experience working with and coaching Agile teams

· Enterprise Agile Coach: 7 to 10 years of experience working with product or software development teams

Experience as an Agile Change Agent – motivating and helping teams and organizations to challenge and transform their existing mindset using a Change Management approach like Kotter combined with MaxAgility's Agile Mentoring Program (AMP)

Experience supporting organizational software development transitions from Waterfall to an Agile/Lean framework

In-depth knowledge and understanding of Agile/Lean practices and principles and real-world experience in actual Agile organizations

Well-developed interpersonal, facilitation, listening and communication skills

Understands and has experience with the various roles an Agile Coach plays including teaching, coaching, mentoring and facilitating

Highly motivated with proven capability to quickly learn and work with new technologies in complex technical environments

Has a “toolbox” of approaches and techniques for motivating and facilitating teams

Experience developing software products in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment

Experience with Scrum using Agile management tools such as Rally/CA Agile Central, Jira, or VersionOne

You are past the crusader/ evangelist stage, can help teams adapt to new ways of working, can "lead from the back of room"

Ability to work physically at various client work sites throughout the US

Certifications: CSM, PSM, CTC, ICP-ACC, SAFe-SM

Authorization to work in the United States

Desired Experience

Combining your Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach experience with Business Analysis experience coming from a Software Development domain is highly desirable.

Demonstrated mentoring experience leading one of MaxAgility's Agile Mentoring Program (AMP) Courses or equivalent

Demonstrated whole-organization transformation experience using MaxAgility's ACE (AMP + Communities of Practice + Embedded Coaching) framework or equivalent

10 years of IT Consulting experience

You are results-oriented, with a relentless focus on operational excellence and execution

You are a self-starter who understands how to effectively deal with ambiguity and changing priorities

You are passionate about communication, group dynamics and helping others discover how to be their best

You have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and improving existing ones

You stay current on the latest Agile-related trends and thought leadership and you are involved in the local Agile community as a participant and, ideally, as an organizer and/or speaker
