Sales Account Executive II

Maverick Corporation is a full-service Engineering and Construction firm working in the telecommunications, electrical vehicle infrastructure, and electrical power sectors. Our customers range from traditional municipal and co-op electric utilities and telecommunication service providers to companies operating in the oil & gas and the transportation industries. Maverick Corporation and its affiliates provide project management, quality control and review services; aerial, underground, and technical services in construction; as well as design, survey, permitting, and owner's agent services in engineering and Construction. Maverick has been incorporated since 1994, and is a growing company with headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.

Maverick is seeking a Sales Account Executive II to support our growing EV team headquartered in Boston, MA with offices across the country and Galway Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience in the electrical field and be familiar with EV deployment and NEVI. The role will comprise of daily interactions with the engineering staff in matters relating to design engineering, project commissioning, EV Charger commissioning and permitting. It shall require the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, as well as various associated deliverables. The position will provide heavy exposure and job training for the latest EV deployment and new electrical services. Travel and field visits will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Interviews clients and researches their business and services as needed to understand and effectively promote Maverick
  • Concurrently manages multiple accounts, deadlines, and ideas.
  • Develops, implements, and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficacy of campaigns; applies this data to determine appropriate next steps for current and future campaigns.
  • Generates and develops new business to meet specified goals.
  • Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
  • Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Functions as liaison between client companies and operations staff.
  • Understands and communicates information regarding Maverick to new and existing clients.
  • Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of Electric and telecommunications industries
  • Continually gathers information on competition and prevalent industry and business climate within regions; communicates information to management and others as needed.
  • Negotiates contracts and work agreements.
  • Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business unit.
  • Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
