PeopleSoft Benefits Administration Analyst/Subject Matter Expert

Candidates MUST be an experienced PS Benefits Functional Analyst/Administrator with demonstrated success in identifying business needs through research and analytics. Candidates need to be Subject Matter Expert  with extensive experience working in the HR/Benefits modules of PeopleSoft.
 
Job Title: PeopleSoft Functional Analyst / Benefits Administrator 
 
Duration: 3 months (contract) 08/19/2019 to 11/29/2019
Location: 121 S.W. Salmon St. Portland Oregon USA 97204
 
Required skills:
•Experience in working with PeopleSoft 9.2 Benefits Administration and Base Benefits modules.
•Ability to review existing PS set-up including Ben Programs, eligibility/event rule, rate tables to understand overall configuration without supervision
•Knowledge of PS data base tables and ability to create benefits related queries
•Knowledge of both active and retiree benefits set-up including health plans and life insurance
•Knowledge of health spending accounts (prorating and company contributions)
•Experience working through the life cycle of Open Enrollment.
•Experience with working on a team
•Ability to have flexible work schedule to meet hard deadlines
•Ability to set-up OE Schedule and Definition and familiarity with use of EligConfig fields.
 
Preferred skills:
•Experience in working with PeopleSoft 9.2 Benefits Administration and Base Benefits modules.
•Ability to review existing PS set-up. Including Ben Programs, eligibility/event rule, rate tables to understand overall configuration without supervision
•Experience working through the life cycle of Open Enrollment.

Job Description:
This position will support our client’s Benefits Open Enrollment for 2020.

PLEASE NOTE - This is NOT a development or programming role. This person will be configuring and testing the on-line PeopleSoft system with the correct data to be able to administer open enrollment. So, yes, super user in the PS system. Candidates need to have extensive experience working in the HR/Benefits modules of PeopleSoft.
 
Job Responsibility:
•Support PGE Annual Open Enrollment (OE) process
•Provide PeopleSoft Benefits Administration and Base Benefits expertise for OE configuration design and setup
•Configure and test Benefit Program Tables for OE
•Configure and test Rate Tables for OE
•Create OE schedules and run OE schedule job, check and correct error messages
•Create and run before and after validation queries
•Create and test new benefit plans & eligibility rules as required
•Create and test Benefit plans and make configuration changes to existing benefit plans
•Setup and/or change event rules and eligibility rules.
•Build and test OE Configuration
 
Experience Required:
Years of experience required for this job: 2-4 years working in the HR/Benefits modules of PeopleSoft
 
Experience Required:
BS / BA in related field
