Job Title: Business Program Analyst – (Smart Grid Electric Vehicle) 
 
Duration: 1 year (contract) 09/23/2019 to 09/25/2020

Required skills:  MS Office and PowerPoint and Excel advanced proficiency, STATA, Tableau, R and GIS mapping software (e.g., ESRI ArcMap 9+), electric domain / electric vehicle knowledge base

Preferred skills:
o Experience assembling, manipulating, analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
o Ability to perform statistical analysis, GIS-based spatial analysis, time series modeling and forecasting techniques.
o Experience summarizing, visualizing, and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Skills:  Independent and a team lead who can handle conflicting & multiple deliverables and requirements
 
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior and experienced Project Manager to onboard a project that will be supporting implementation of the Smart Grid Test Bed (SGTB). The SGTB is a high profile, multi-year project to test new strategies and products designed to engage customers in active load management. The lessons learned from this project are critical to achieving broader customer participation in our client’s grid modernization and energy decarbonize efforts. The program analyst will join a team that includes 3 FTEs/Contractors; a Program Manager, and two Project Managers, as well as an extended team that includes a half time Marketing Manager, 3 Outreach Specialists, and various internal partners including product design, program delivery, distribution engineering, and distribution planning.
 
Job Responsibility:
The Program Analyst will support this work by performing custom analysis and visualization of customer (e.g. AMI usage, building characteristics), distribution (e.g. substation and feeder loading), and product performance data (e.g. equipment connectivity, up time and performance).
o Utilize Microsoft Office and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to create data sets
o Employ Data visualization software (e.g., Tableau), statistical analysis tools (e.g., STATA, R), and a working knowledge of GIS mapping software (e.g., ESRI ArcMap 9+)
o Expertise in electricity sector and knowledge of electric vehicles, energy efficiency, distributed generation and/or energy storage markets
o Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a multi task environment.
 
Experience Required: Years of experience required for this job: 5+ years analyst experience working with MS Office and PowerPoint and Excel advanced proficiency, STATA, Tableau, R and GIS mapping software (e.g., ESRI ArcMap 9+) plus electric domain / electric vehicle knowledge base is an added plus
 
Education Required: BS / BA in related field
