The Opportunity: The Senior Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the Brand team with business analysis, particularly focused on brand, category and product performance.
The position provides reporting and analysis which support product planning and assortment, including product retirement, carryover, and new product development. Availability & Location: * This is a temporary position scheduled for 40 hours per week. The duration of the position will last approximately through February 2023. * The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity with availability to come on site to our Middleton corporate office as needed. What Your Impact Will Be: The Sr. Analyst performs analytical work to include, but not limited to: PRODUCT PLANNING: Compiles data and analyzes category performance to inform carryover, retirement and assortment planning.
Routinely reviews CI and BI reports to continuously compile insights related to specific areas of the business. Works directly with Brand Manager and Finance to inform financial implications prior to Pre-plan. Provides data to inform P&L discussions (% new vs CF, % share by category).
Manages and adjusts P&L through development of pre-plan. Utilizes financial reporting tools such as EDQ and PrOPS coupled with analytical skills to develop business assessments. LINE MANAGEMENT: Supports Brand Managers and ABMs through day to day line development and documentation (line lists, pricing action, etc). Makes updates to the line management tools as analysis is performed.
Communicates insights to brand leadership to inform decision-making and D&D/ Forecasting to inform design and development. Provides category and sku level analysis to support assortment planning (retirement/refreshment decisions) and LAAG Development CROSS-BRAND SUPPORT: Partners with ABMS to ensure category level planning is performed across sub-brands. What We're Looking For: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * 3-5 years of marketing experience (0-3 years with a MBA) in a retail or consumer driven company. * Sound financial and analytical skills. KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Strong analytic skills and the ability to accurately manage details. ability to deal with complexity given the multi-channel and multi-segment nature of business. * Must also be able to clearly communicate with all levels within the organization.
Present findings in format that clearly communicates the point and is easy to digest. * Experienced with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Powerpoint.
