Field Manager

Matrix Home Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Field Manager to join our team of experts in the home remodeling industry. We are one of America's fastest-growing and award-winning companies, specializing in basement and bathroom finishing, and we are looking for a skilled individual to manage our construction projects in Milwaukee.

As the Construction Field Manager, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. You will manage field supervisors, field personnel, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will attend kick-off meetings with the Project Manager, Field Supervisor, and Estimator to discuss job and product details, organize deliveries, and review plans and specs to determine material and labor requirements. You will provide technical assistance, coordinate with town inspectors and fire marshals for inspection approvals and manage product and service installations. Additionally, you will visit job sites weekly to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Other responsibilities include coordinating with the Production Manager and Project Managers on job progress, training and mentoring less experienced employees, conducting performance appraisals for field supervisors and personnel, and performing other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry with demonstrated supervisory skills. You should have knowledge of steel framing, drywall, ACT, doors and hardware, layout, supervision, manpower, material procurement, and wood framing. Possessing an OSHA 30 certification and building construction knowledge is a must, along with excellent oral and written communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
