A successful candidate will be comfortable in a manufacturing environment and have a flair for creating marketing materials as well as technical documents.Company OverviewMatec Instrument Companies, Inc. specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of ultrasonic imaging and nondestructive testing systems.

Used by some of the most well-known aerospace, military, railroad, and metals companies in the world, Matec has experienced steady and profitable growth.Responsibilities:Collaborate with our software engineers to develop, edit and refine all software documentation for system control and analysis.Collaborate with our mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineers and Field Service to develop maintenance manuals for our systems.Develop all Environmental, Health, and Safety documentation as required.Manage new and existing documentation to ensure information is relevant and accurate.Assist in developing marketing materials for print and digital ad campaignsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or Computer Science.3-5 years’ experience in technical writing, ideally with a mechanical or electrical focus.Experience with Madcap Flare is highly desirable.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.Demonstrated ability to understand and write about complex information and make it understandable in text and through images and media.Excellent work ethic and strong intellectual curiosity.The Benefits & Perks:Health Insurance w/HSA Safe Harbor 401k  Flexible Spending10 Holiday’sPTO – vacation/sick/personalSTD & LTD InsuranceTuition AssistanceAn awesome, flexible, casual working environment! ***Don't forget to check the consent to be texted box!***PM21   Powered by JazzHR
