Position: Systems Administrator
Location: Cleveland Office
Masis Professional Group is seeking a Systems Administrator for our client, a full-service corporate law firm with offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, New York and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join its Cleveland office.
This position is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of support for the firm’s business objectives and possess a strong desire for continuous education and area expertise. Responsibilities include:
- Distribution, setup, and configuration of all end user workstations and laptops
- Develop and test methodologies for software deployment and updates using a variety of tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Manage computer settings, user settings, and software deployments through Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Manage hardware, operating system, and application patches and hotfixes and ensure timely deployment to all workstations and laptops
- Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of server print queues and printers
- Assist with maintenance and management of ShoreTel/Mitel phone system, mobile devices and smartphone setup
- Assist with maintenance of network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data/voice Circuits
- Assist with maintenance and installation of datacenter infrastructure including HP servers, NetApp and HP Nimble Storage, and Cisco / Meraki networking devices
- Support firm security initiatives and serve as an escalation point for hardware issues and network system operation issues
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, process mapping, asset inventory, and service records
- Occasional travel and the ability to work additional hours when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred
- 5+ years’ Information Technology experience preferably in a law firm or professional services role
- 3+ years’ experience managing devices and software deployments in a network environment preferably using Microsoft Intune
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Software Update Service (WSUS), Drive Imaging Technologies, Patch Management Technologies, and Scripting Languages such as Batch, VBScript, and PowerShell
- Solid foundation of computer networking principals, network security principals and SaaS and browser-based software technologies
- Excellent client service orientation; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
