Partner Services Engagement Specialist - Overall purpose of the position: In this role the employee will be responsible for coordinating engagement activities and trainings with our partners, along with appointment scheduling, data entry and general office support. This role maintains accessible resources for the Maryland Food Bank Network Partners while supporting Programs team members as needed. This employee will provide training support to our partner network for programs such MealConnect, Agency Express and Fenly. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, cross-training in multiple programs, streamlining services, researching industry trends, and working cross-departmentally to maintain food distribution to Network Partners.

 

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar position.

 

Education: Associates Degree is preferred. A combination of social services work and education will be considered.

 

Qualifications and skills:

· Public speaking and large group trainings.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Excellent verbal communication skills and professional appearance required.

· Attention to detail is a key part of this position.

· Must be Microsoft Office proficient.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Become well versed in industry trends and Maryland Food Bank programming.

· Work in collaboration with team members to create an interactive, resource-rich, learning center.

· Work in collaboration with team members on communication strategy for Network Partners (including across digital channels).

· Host in person and virtual trainings.

· Have the ability to train the partner network on programs such as Link2Feed, Fenly and MealConnect.

· Greet Network Partners in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.

· Professionally administer incoming calls.

· Coordinate the pick-up of Network Partner orders.

· Provide information on menu availability.

· Perform other clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.

· Assures that office equipment e.g. fax machine, photocopier, etc. are operating at all times.

 

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

 

Essential Working Conditions

Work Environment: The employee will carry out the job duties from a professional office environment with fluctuation in temperatures and noise.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
