We are seeking a Residential Technician - Direct Care to join our team! You will provide emotional and administrative support to clients in either individual or group settings.
Marygrove in Florissant provides quality mental health services to severely disturbed children, young adults and their families who are economically disadvantaged. We are seeking Residential Technicians to supervise and monitor each resident, ensuring that residents complete their routines. As a direct care Residential Tech, you will maintain incident reports and logs, and implement policies, procedures and services of the program. You may also participate in activities and excursions with the children/young adults. We have openings for first, second, and third shifts, and will also accept candidates who are available to work on-call.
We offer a full benefits package to fulltime employees. Our pay is based on experience and ranges up from $10.50. If you work second or third shift, you will be eligible for a shift differential. Meals are provided for employees working the 1st and 2nd shifts.
If you have experience working with children or youth we would like to hear from you! Qualified candidates will have either four-year relevant work experience OR a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology or a related field. We will also consider applicants who have a combination of work experience and/or college which totals four years. Experience with S.E.D. children is a plus. To be qualified, you must be 21 years of age or older, with a valid driver’s license (and eligible for Class E).
