Job Description

We are seeking amazing part-time musicians/teachers who love children and music and are passionately committed to the education of young children through music. Applicants must have the energy to bring music, with active movement, into the everyday life of children and their families. Our program focuses on eurhythmics, rhythm and song play, dramatic musical play, naturalistic musical play, creative play, piano play, storytelling through music, dance, recorder, ukulele, and much more. We are a sequential program, and group our classes by age.

Just graduated? Train with master teachers in our award winning music program. Part-time could move to full time. Training and mentoring included. Want to move into or back into a career in music? Want to play in a band by night? Teach children by day? If you are interested in musical process that "inspires and enlivens a child's education through music," this just might be the perfect job for you.

Part of the passion, the mission of this program, is to “rescue music from an isolated and insulated place and to dance it back into the everyday life experiences of the young children and their families.”sm This program, “where music comes out to play,” includes live singing, piano, guitar, recorder, ukulele, rhythms, eurhythmics, music reading in the most fun way... and their award winning, original Once Upon A Song Creative piano lessons begin age four, our original piano book included. Ukulele lessons added, age five. Recorder lessons added, age six.
