Senior Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

Marucci Sports is looking for a creative and highly motivated Senior Graphic Designer to join our team in Baton Rouge. As an integral part of the marketing department, this role is responsible for leading design and overseeing projects for Marucci Sports and partner brands, Victus and Lizard Skins. The Senior Graphic Designer will provide in-house graphic support for products, brand campaigns, sales catalogs, presentations, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable understanding strategic insight and leveraging the brand style guide in order to assist with a wide range of compelling graphics across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all stages of the design process from concept to completion
• Projects include, but are not limited to the development of bat artwork, yearly product catalog, print ads, packaging, event signage, product/athlete imagery editing, and various collateral materials
• Create graphics that are industry-leading, on-trend and that consistently incorporate consumer/athlete insight through powerful storytelling, emotional connectivity, and relevance
• Ensure creative deadlines are met by working effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining brand equity and proper execution
• Lead evolution of brand look and feel on a yearly basis
• Oversee the bandwidth and creative output of creative team

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Possesses a strong portfolio in digital and print
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Advanced knowledge of Mac platform and proficiency in Windows
• Photography and photoshoot direction experience is a plus
• Exceptional eye for quality and attention to detail
• Organization and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, positive work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of baseball rules, players, teams, etc. is not required

Education and Experience:

• University degree in Graphic Design
• 7-10 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate environment
• Experience leading a team
