JOB BRIEF

Marketplace Professional Staffing seeks an experienced Regional Sales Rep to join our growing team! This team member will be responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with our clients, securing new accounts, and overseeing sales, resulting in attaining business goals and increasing revenue.

 

As a Regional Sales Rep, you should be proactively in identifying potential new client partners, qualifying those leads, and identifying a path to securing a business relationship with them. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be very customer service oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prospect and secure new clients
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • For the existing client base, identify additional profit potential and create an action plan to expand company relationships
  • For potential new clients, identify decision makers within the company and the biggest needs that can be met by MPS’ services
  • Proactively set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives, in the MPS CRM
  • Generate new business using existing and potential client partner networks
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customer’s individual needs
  • Complete regular customer service audits with existing clients to ensure they consistently receive excellent customer service from all contacts with MPS
  • Resolve complex service issues and conflicts and provide solutions for clients in a timely manner
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results, quarterly/annual forecasts, etc.)
  • Support the initiatives, policies, procedures, and programs and this staffing and recruiting agency
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Actively participate in and contribute to regular meetings with client management and the MPS leadership team

REQUIREMENTS and EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field preferred

  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Rep, Business Development Specialist, Sales Account Manager, Salesperson, and/or Sales Account Executive (minimum of 3 years)

  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience

  • Extreme proficiency and knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)

  • Sales Force experience a plus

  • Awareness and understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and negotiation skills

  • Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

  • Business acumen with problem-solving attitude

  • Skilled at negotiation, decision-making, and utilizing sound judgement

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels on an organization
