DESCRIPTION

The Market of Choice Cheese Shops are a high-energy, team-oriented environment that create an inviting in-store experience with friendly, knowledgeable, and customer service oriented Specialty Cheese teammates. Prepare for a high-energy, team-oriented environment! This position starts at $17/hour - $21.75/hour, depending on experience.

DUTIES

As an Assistant Specialty Cheese Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in purchasing, merchandising & expense control
• Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
• Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of cheese
• Conduct events
• Organizing, stocking and facing of the department
• Monthly & Quarterly inventory
• Checking in deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily
• Enforce company policy & procedures
• General cleaning and maintenance of sales area

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates will have an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of hand crafted and artisan cheeses from around the world, superior customer service skills and a strong sales ability including suggestive selling techniques.
Applicants should have open availability and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
