Job Summary:

Are you interested in Fortune 500 Markel Corporation's Summer 2020 Internship Program? Markel offers internship opportunities in numerous departments providing you with valuable projects, networking opportunities and educational sessions. As a Markel Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working in your selected division. You will apply your educational insights and learning in a real-world business setting. You will complete various projects and tasks to support the Sales division of our Fortune 500 organization.

Additional required skill sets included:

Current college student (rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors)
Strong academic performance (3.0 GPA minimum)
Highly adaptable and comfortable with fast pace and shifting priorities.
Detail-oriented and well organized.
Strong desire to learn and apply knowledge.
Ability to exhibit effective interpersonal skills with high degree of professionalism.
Ability to work in either Richmond, VA (or another Markel location) for the summer. Housing and relocation are not provided.
