Basic PurposeDevelops and coordinates MaritzCX proposals including providing answers to RFP question documents, creates proposal content outlines, completes supporting forms and documentation as required by RFP, calculates proposed solution cost/pricing from internal team and external partners, writes proposal content and collects/edits written information from contributors, leads cost reviews and packages proposal response. Additionally, supports Field Sales and Account Managers with client presentations (post-proposal) when needed and time allows.
Working RelationshipsWorks closely with Field Sales and Account Managers, Solutions Consultants, and Research Services (i.e. Client Success Directors, Client Success Managers, Marketing Sciences Directors, and Sr. Research Managers).
ResponsibilitiesPROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT: (1) Provides consultative services to Field Sales and Account Managers on new business proposal development. (2) Writes proposals and follows the MaritzCX proposal process to ensure a clear and timely proposal response. (3) Utilizes extensive knowledge of MaritzCX research services and platform capabilities, facts, and best practices to answer RFP questions and produce well-written, clear, and innovative proposals. (4) Oversees proposal finalization to ensure high quality and thorough final proposal response. (5) Works closely with Account Managers, Solution Consultants and Research Services as necessary in responding to RFPs (6) Partners with necessary departments to develop presentation materials, innovative graphical displays of information, RFP specific screenshots, branded images, etc.
ADMINISTRATION: (1) Keeps knowledge base, RFPIO database tool, and proposal resource documents current. (2) Continually seeks out new information to populate knowledge base, RFPIO database tool, and proposal resource documents.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: Performs special projects as assigned by management.
PRODUCT RESEARCH: (1) Researches MaritzCX product offerings to become knowledgeable and up-to-date on technology advancements/improvements. (2) Attends internal product presentations and trainings, as needed, to maintain a high level of knowledge concerning new offerings and technology updates. (3) Reviews trade publications and technology forums to keep abreast of industry changes.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal RFP/RFI/RFQ development.
+ Strong market research industry and SaaS knowledge and understanding.
+ Knowledge of web technology preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work with many different work styles and personalities.
+ Comprehensive writing, editing, and grammatical skills to ensure RFP accuracy and quality.
+ Ability to manage several deadline-oriented projects simultaneously while exhibiting "calm under pressure" with a customer service attitude.
+ Knowledge of HealthCare industry beneficial.
+ Experience with HCAHPS beneficial
+ SalesForce - Beginner - Preferred
