Position Title Department Reports to Route Sales Representative Sales Sales manager Employment Status FLSA Status Effective Date Temporary Full-Time Part-Time Non-Exempt Exempt [Effective Date] Position Summary Route Sales Representatives are responsible for building and maintaining relationships in the market. The RSR will represent, sell, and deliver company products while maintaining a safe professional manner. RSRs are required to maintain best in class merchandising standards, while keeping a standard and accurate inventory level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Create awareness and demand for company products * Identify potential opportunities and effectively communicate availability to meet the customers needs * Delivering to set locations daily * Calling on customer and preparing orders * Loading, unloading, and operating a freezer truck * Maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards * Operating and maintaining vehicle in safe and clean condition * Receiving products from warehouse and delivering to proper location * Loading and unloading trucks using a hand truck for delivery purposes * Interfacing with warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving and putting away product * Assist with inventory control * Adhere to all cash, charge, and inventory policies * Performing other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) * Maintaining good a driving record * Some distribution supply experience preferred. * Excellent Communication Skills and Customer Service Oriented. * Customer Focus, Dependability, Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance * Some computer skills preferred.

Data Entry Skills a plus * Be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. * Ability to prioritize and organize workflow on a daily basis to accomplish required tasks.
