Job Description
  • Practice application of Lean/Six Sigma principles and methodologies by driving continual improvement efforts.
  • Lead structured kaizen (continual improvement) events in a cross-functional team setting and demonstrate successful outcomes; select and utilize appropriate tools
  • Utilize Project Management and problem solving skills to manage kaizen results and action plans through implementation.
  • Analyze data to find and solve problems to improve related indicators.
  • Sustain and monitor the systems that support the Lean culture team.
  • Assist in large scale Lean culture initiatives with input from key process owners to provide significant value for internal and external customers
  • Teach and coach employees to incorporate training into the organization by building working relationships.
  • Serve as a catalyst and change agent to promote Lean thinking and foster a continual improvement culture throughout the company
  • Serve as an influential and motivational trainer in Change Management and Lean thinking
  • Promote and enhance a team working relationship amongst group members.
  • Promote out-of-the-box thinking and continually generate new ideas to improve processes
  • Comply, support, maintain and participate in all aspects of the Integrated Management System.
  • Lead and oversee Six Sigma projects
  • Develop and deliver Lean training.
  • Strong knowledge regarding industry related standards
  • Strong data analysis using Minitab and related tools.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong process-oriented and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Other duties as required.
