PRODUCT COORDINATOR

Multy Home LP is a leading global manufacturer of floor covering and outdoor living products. With manufacturing and distribution facilities in Canada, Poland and the U.S.A. The Opportunity: Product Coordinator

The Product Coordinator’s role is to support the Category Manager with all operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

Set up all new products in the internal system “MAPICS”.

Acts as the main point of contact with regards to any questions related to how SKUs are set up in the system.

Update the SKU Forms with the correct information to set them up in the system.

Link new SKUs with the relevant warehouses.

Confirm and assign HTS codes for customs purposes.

Submit the final SKU Forms to the Costing team for costing purposes.

Set up all new packaging SKUs (e.g., labels, pallets, boxes, etc.), new raw material SKUs (e.g., mother rolls, non-finished goods coming from suppliers); links them with the relevant warehouses

Create and manage Plant Packaging Specifications for our Manufacturing and our suppliers.

Confirm with the Packaging team on the packaging materials (e.g., boxes, pallets, bags) required for proper build.

Validate the dimensions of the products (e.g., diameters of the rolls).

Set up labels for in-house printing in the printer’s system, test-prints labels.

Create the builds for a pallet, a truck, and a container in “MaxLOAD”, validates them with the Packaging team.

Collaborate with the Sales team on processing rework requests, including for Closeout sales. Create rework specs for our Manufacturing and our suppliers, including setting up new SKUs as required, creating new pallet, truck, container builds.

Release the packaging artworks and packaging specifications to our suppliers and our domestic Operations team.

Create pallet, truck, container builds for special POs with mixed SKU loads.

Maintain the archive of e-commerce images.

Makes requests to the Creative team for e-commerce images.

Organize and maintain the images in the required folders, share them with the Sales team and E-Commerce team as needed.

Collaborate with the Creative team to provide verbiage/marketing copy for packaging, gets customer sign-offs, approves final packaging artworks.

Manage all product samples (e.g., development samples, presentation samples, testing samples).

Orders, labels, and organizes all products samples.

Arrange the production of samples as required.

Coordinate samples for Private label product testing, line reviews, promo pitches, presentations, customers’ approval.

Keep the assigned shelf space in the Sample Room in good order.

Provide direction to the Sample Room team for managing the customers’ sample requests.

Prepare all required documents (e.g., labels) and packaging for shipping out samples.

Validate dimensions and weights for all products and packaging before shipping them out for testing.

Work with the Sample Room team to pull samples from the warehouse as required.

Support the Category Manager as required. Performs any other reasonable assignments given by the department and company leaders.

Requirements:

Post-secondary education in a related field is required.

Excellent attention to detail and proofing skills are essential.

Strong prioritization, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills as necessary.

Professional work ethic with the ability to work as a part of a big internal team and with external suppliers is required.
