Your Life as our Production Manager
Working in our fast-paced work environment, you will oversee the day-to-day production management of 10-15 production employees and the scheduling of work orders. Bringing your prior management experience to our organization, you will work closely with our General Manager of Operations to ensure responsibilities are complete as you take initiative in the following areas: Recruiting and selecting the appropriate job candidates for the appropriate production positions. Setting and overseeing strategy for maximizing productive capacity from our employees, managing and motivating employees to get the required jobs done as well as managing work flow to ensure customer order are processed properly and on time.
You will be responsible for learning and reporting on our core metrics that drive operational effectiveness. You'll assist with human resources functions ensuring the adherence of policies and procedures. You'll also utilize your computer skills to help with production scheduling and meeting production goals. Your overall role at Manufacturer will be to utilize your experience and skill-set to provide organized production operations for our company. Job Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years total experience in production type environment required.
Minimum of 2 years of general managerial experience required.
Ability to formulate effective solutions to meet company goals and expectations.
Adaptability and ability to use current resources to their best effect.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to learn & utilize Computer Software with intermediate or advanced computer skills.
Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.
Ability to learn and live Lean Manufacturing with production team.
Effective written and communication skills.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Minimum High School degree required
Associate/Bachelors Degree preferred.
Ability to manage shift starting at 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
