SEEKING A COMMUNITY MANAGER - We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual to oversee the day to day operations for our family owned and operated manufactured home community located in Belleville, IL, bordering St. Louis, MO.
This position is ideal for the candidate looking for stable and long-term employment. Applicants with community management or sales and leasing experience are preferred.
Benefits Include: Base Salary, aggressive commission structure, signing bonus and matching 401K program. No medical benefits are provided.
Compensation: Will be based on the candidate’s experience level.
Responsibilities: The following is intended to cover the majority of the routine daily tasks to be performed – these items include, but are not limited to:
Execute required delinquency protocol
Execute required rule violation protocol
Ensure that residents adhere to the community rules and regulations
Responsible for oversight and management of the maintenance and home remodeling staff
Physically examine the property on a regular basis
Receive and resolve resident complaints
Fill vacant home sites
Handle all details of move-ins and move-outs
Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, well maintained community.
Collection of rent payments
Record rent payments via property management software
Adhere to all appropriate company policies, including but not limited to use of property management software system, petty cash reports, summary reports and special accounting items.
Process invoices for payment
Maintain proper safe storage of resident files and records
Prepared general property correspondence
Prepare and process leases and related forms
Undertake background checks for new residents
Purchase supplies for the community
Show new and used inventory homes for sale, properly interview and follow up with sales prospects
Execute marketing & advertising for homes for sale within the community
Complete required documents for a home sale
Adhere to all state retailer license laws, regulations, rules and guidelines.
