Manpower Las Vegas is seeking an HR Generalist for a Las Vegas company.
Manage employee on-boarding process, e.g. development of offer letters, conducting background investigations, drug screening, performing Everify, reference checking, and conducting new hire orientation.
Act as the liaison for all departments involved in the new hire process.
Conduct exit interviews and discuss exit interview findings with management.
Process new hire paperwork, terminations, salary increases and adjustments, and employment verification requests.
Ensure Company compliance with required Federal/State posters.
Maintain Company Intranet, HRIS system, and compile necessary reports.
Coordinate company social activities, e.g. Summer Picnic, Thanksgiving Luncheon, Holiday Party, etc.
Respond to employee relations issues and assist management with resolving employee concerns.
Assist Corporate Benefits Manager with administering the company health, welfare and retirement plan benefits.
Assist with recruiting staff in all areas through a variety of methods including sourcing candidates from internet job boards and attending job fairs.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Human Resources.
Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of general HR practices.
Familiarity with health, welfare and retirement plan administration.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to multi-task and have superior follow-up skills.
Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.
Knowledge of ADP PayForce, Application Tracking Systems, and various job boards is a plus.
