Help Desk (Level One) Support Technician

Position Summary:

The Help Desk Support Technician is responsible for remote and in-house support for all clients of Mannassi IT Solutions. They act as a first responder, and actively contact clients in response to customer or system created tickets. They will monitor ticket queues, ensure SLA response times are met, prioritize issues, and provide customer support for a variety of computer systems and applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • On-site and in house technical support of Mannassi IT Solutions clients
  • Assist in deployment of new or existing services
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
  • Escalate unresolved issues to an appropriate internal resource
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Creation and management of computer documentation
  • Manage and monitor help desk and all components used as part of the Managed Service Agreements
  • Assist with managing & implement maintenance & patching
  • Any other duties as assigned

Consults With:

Owners, Network Systems Specialist, IT Field & Help Desk Technicians, contractors and vendors.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of vendors & manufacturers sold by Mannassi IT Solutions
  • Strong communication and customer service
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Good driving record
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to resolve the issues internally and externally
  • Lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Education degree, or minimum of 4 year experience
