Host/ Hostess - Summerlin

Makers & Finders in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one host/hostess to join our 35 person strong team. We are located on 2120 Festival Plaza Dr #140. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phones and book reservations
• The ability to be hospitable is an essential skill for this position
• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
• Analyze and estimate wait times for guests, managing a waitlist
• Managing the phone. Hosts are required to take notes, messages, reservations and
  takeout in addition to checking voicemails daily.
• Thanking and greeting guests with genuine appreciation before they leave

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Strong organizational and motivational skills
• Health Card required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Talking/Hearing: to communicate with public, staff and vendors
• Walking: to travel different levels of facility and other locations
• Sitting: to drive a vehicle and for computer work
• Standing: to put supplies away, to train, standing for long periods of time
  Lifting: to put supplies away
• Climbing: to inspect all areas of restaurant
• Pulling: to open doors; to move furniture and supplies
• Pushing: to close doors; to move furniture and supplies
• Stooping: to inspect under equipment; to retrieve supplies at lower levels
• Crouching: to inspect under equipment; to retrieve supplies at lower levels
• Seeing: to drive a vehicle; to obtain information from written material, for computer
  work
• Carrying: to carry 25 pounds for 25 yards to maintain inventory.

The Host/ Hostess is required to invest the time necessary to produce exceptional results. This position will also have a rotating irregular schedule including weekends, holidays
and frequently a 4-day work week.
