MaintenanceBest is looking for a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech that can maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and facility systems in peak operating condition.

REQUIRED

  • Experience in Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanics.
  • Must have strong Electrical & HVAC experience
  • Knowledge in PLC and VFD working with sensors etc. Perform both routine and non- routine preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant equipment. Maintain industrial electrical equipment. Diagnostic testing repairs, overhaul of switchgear, motors, and transformers (Hi-voltage / Med-voltage / Lo-voltage running conduit for new panel and or machinery).
  • Ability to repair and perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, air compressors and a variety of slitting and cutting operations.
  • Performs detailed maintenance as assigned by department manager or shift supervisor.
  • Installs, repairs, adjusts, and monitors the operation of manufacturing and facilities equipment.
  • Troubleshoots manufacturing equipment and resolves problems using equipment specifications, blueprints, or ladder logic diagrams.
  • Documents all work performed on daily time sheets, logs, files, and work history reports.
  • Requisitions repair and/or replacement parts and supplies as needed.
  • Designs, specifies, and builds moderately complicated systems including but not limited to piping systems, small electrical cabinets, control systems or production support equipment.
  • Complies with OSHA/Company safety and health rules.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience working in a Maintenance Mechanic/Maintenance Electrician position for a manufacturing facility.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to apply skills in adapting procedures, techniques, tools, and materials and/or equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be willing to work extended/flexible night shift and weekends when necessary.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • Ability to Stand, walk, sit, use of hands to handle, feel, or grasp objects, tools, or controls.
  • Reach and lift with hands and arms; lift/move/carry objects up to 25 lbs. in weight.
  • Climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
  • Ability to talk and hear for safety on the production floor.
  • Visual ability to see things in close vision, distance vison, color vision, peripheral vison, depth perception and ability to adjust focus as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE/OVERTIME

1st – 7 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Overtime as required.
