The Security Guard guards and controls assigned posts and assist with Loss Prevention. This role ensures reduction of risk of loss including loss of inventory or physical assets. This position is Part Time 2nd & 3rd Shift - Weekends
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Dispense shipping and add-on seals * Document outside drivers entering warehouse * Document customer pick up * Monitor CCTV in conjunction with the above duties * Physical security of building * Liaison between warehouse and drivers * Inspect company vehicles * Assist Loss Prevention with assigned tasks * Assist with Access Control system set up for new hires and reassignments * Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Skilled at observing behaviors with ability to handle high risk behaviors. Knowledge of security systems and practices. Working knowledge of documentation preparation related to theft. Ability to participate in investigations. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate in stressful situations. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and risk prevention/security related software and systems).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High schoold Diploma or GED with three (3) years related experience and/or training in loss prevention or security; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior law enforcement experience preferred or a combination of security and loss prevention background experience can be substituted.
