The Clinical Support Assistant provides support to the Nurse Manager, House Supervisor and Unit staff under the direction of the Nurse Manager on the night and weekend shift. This position is also responsible for the clerical units at the nurses’ station, dietary supply, office supply, and safety equipment orders, along with being the administrative assistant for the medical director of that unit.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified Health Unit Coordinator preferred
- Administrative Assistant experience in a health care setting preferred
- Organizational abilities, computer knowledge, strong communication skills, willingness to learn new programs, adhere to strict confidentiality standards consistent with Spring Harbor Hospital
