We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Small Animal Internist to join our well-established, thriving Internal Medicine Department. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling, a one-of-a-kind compensation package, and shared on-call duties, including diagnostic ultrasound services.

 

This position will allow you to share and grow your skills in collaboration with our expanding team of specialists in Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Nutrition, Rehabilitation, and our fully staffed Emergency service. You will also work alongside one of the most committed and skilled nursing teams around.

Maine Veterinary Medical Center (MVMC) is a VECCS Level One certified hospital, located in Scarborough, Maine. Our award-winning facility boasts high quality ultrasound, digital flexible and rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy, helical 16 slice CT, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, MRI, comprehensive in-house laboratory, and a dedicated ICU.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree or equivalent
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Veterinary Internist
  • Ability to attain a Maine Veterinary License
