Our client located on Free Street in Portland is looking for a temporary administrative assistant for a 4-5 week assignment. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 9 am to 3 pm, with a pay rate of $15/hr and parking paid by the employer.
- Call schools and career organizations who would benefit from receiving a free publication on the manufacturing industry. Use a prepared script to give product information and to take orders.
- Complete orders by entering names, addresses, emails and number of copies in a spreadsheet. (Google Sheets)
- Send order confirmation emails.
- Create free and discounted subscription orders for advertisers by entering and verifying names, addresses and emails in a spreadsheet. (Google Sheets)
- Email subscription confirmations to advertisers.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Ability to provide quality customer service (phone and email)
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable with cold-calling
