Magic of Paws LLC of North Yarmouth, ME is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Pet Parent Liaison / Customer service Representative. Are you an outgoing "people" person with excellent communication skills, who also happens to love animals? This is an entry-level position with the potential to move up to all the other positions in our company. This entry-level position starts at $14.00/hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME PET PARENT LIAISON / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

As a Pet Parent Liaison / Customer service Representative, you are the face of our company. You always greet people immediately when they come into the building and answer phones in a timely manner. Your friendly, helpful demeanor comes through in all your interactions. You enjoy greeting 2-legged and 4-legged clients alike and do your best to remember and use their names. With attention to detail, you check in animals, take reservations, take inventory of our retail products, process invoices, process payments, and process enrollments.

You also give tours of the facility to potential customers and answer questions regarding our services, policies, and procedures. With your thorough understanding of our values and services, you are able to clearly and enthusiastically explain our focus on pet wellness and quality care. You also utilize friendly sales techniques to upsell clients on additional services and products that will benefit their dogs. As clients leave, you always remember to thank them for doing business with us and encourage them to return.

Most of our clients appreciate us and make your job a joy. On those rare occasions when you have a dissatisfied client, you remain calm and professional as you make every effort to resolve the issue. You take pride in keeping the reception and retail area clean and maintained and there are always a variety of administrative tasks that you can assist with. You feel great about the important role you play in connecting loving families with the ideal services for their furry members and look forward to continuing to expand your knowledge about our industry!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME PET PARENT LIAISON / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

  • One year of customer service and administrative experience
  • Must have a typing speed of 40 mph or higher
  • Leadership skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • Love for animals

Any sales experience would be helpful. Are you flexible and able to utilize effective coping skills? Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Are you self-motivated and able to work independently? Do you thrive in a team environment? Are you organized and able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Do you have good decision-making and problem-solving skills? If so, you might just be perfect for this entry-level Pet Parent Liaison / Customer service Representative position!


FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME WORK SCHEDULE

The work schedule for this entry-level administrative position is incredibly flexible. We are open 7 days a week from 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM, so we are happy to work around someone's needs and can accommodate both full-time and part-time schedules. We are open on holidays, so you must be able to work whatever holiday falls on your regularly scheduled days.
