Job Description


As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing designated accounts and acting as a direct extension of the client’s operations team. The successful applicant will focus on acquiring additional revenue streams from existing clientele and bringing on new customers who can benefit from our product offerings This position regularly collaborates with internal operations teams and other key stakeholders within the account. You will work closely with our China clients and need to speak Mandarin.


What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver excellent customer service by servicing all day-to-day client requests
  • Facilitate and coordinate all operations efforts. Work closely with operations to meet the needs of the client
  • Understand how operational performance related to the client service agreement
  • Escalate any areas of risk to the Account Executive
  • Identify and assess client expectations. Work closely with the Account Executive to implement change in order to meet expectations where appropriate
  • Educate the client on company procedures and processes. Train clients how to use available tools
  • Manage financial aspects for assigned accounts, such as aging, creating/delivering sales orders, and initiating purchases of raw goods
  • Under the direction of the Account Executive participate in and facilitate regular client meetings
  • Welcome and assist in the onboarding of new clients as they are implemented


What You’ll Bring:

  • Fluent in the Mandarin language 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of product knowledge across all business lines
  • Advanced problem resolution and communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of clients
  • Keen understanding of business, finance, sales, logistics, and operations
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-centric mentality, with the ability to anticipate customer needs
  • A capacity to learn the logistics/fulfillment industry



  • 1-2 years experience in account management or similar role
  • Experience in Supply Chain
  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, or other related fields
  • Computer Experience including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of clients
  • Keen understanding of business, finance, sales, logistics, and operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience in the logistics/Fulfillment field
  • Experiences working with inventory management software, such as ASC or SAP
