Restaurant Manager

MANAGER

Madison Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Manager to join our team! Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience managing/supervising in a high-paced environment, maintain a positive demeanor at all times, and value hospitality above all else. This position will include a mix of days, nights, weekends and holiday hours. We offer highly competitive wages and growth opportunity within our expanding restaurant group.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

-3+ years of prior experience in restaurant management (a combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative)

-College degree is preferred (Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable).

-Strong working knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, POS, Open Table/Reserve, etc.).

-Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: Food & beverage planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and reporting.

-Pleasant, polite manner, role model, neat & clean appearance.

-Good communication skills and ability to with well with a diverse staff and guests.

-Able to coach and develop staff to deliver service that meets and exceeds guests expectations.

-Ability to manage 30 or more employees.

-Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.

-Has knowledge and experience relevant to the restaurant concept.

-Keeps informed of industry and market changes.

-Knowledge of current food trends Ability to lead and direct a large staff, and hold them accountable, while having fun. Strong P&L knowledge and accountability

-Extensive liquor, cocktail, beer and wine knowledge
