Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Review documents received for new direct business and brokerage accounts for completion and
 Process new accounts and transaction requests while following internal processes for review or
 Handle Not in Good Order (NIGO) issues directly with branch office timely and effectively
 Back up to processing of brokerage and advisory accounts on Pershing platform
 Processing of account maintenance requests such as account updates, address changes,
beneficiary changes, advisor changes etc., in back office and clearing firm systems
 Resolve mismatched commissions and commission hold issues for advisors
 Process, log, and forward signature guarantee requests to appropriate parties
 Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence including letters, emails, and faxes as necessary
 Ability to build and maintain a good working relationship with advisors, business partners, transfer
agents, and fund companies
 Answer/respond to incoming emails and phone calls to the Operations Department
 Cross-train with other Operations Department functions to create a seamless service environment for
our Advisors
 Ability to train internal staff, advisors and branch staff on firm policy, procedures and system
navigation specific to all aspects of new accounts and transaction processing
 Heavy data entry with priority on accuracy and strict processing deadlines
 This position is driven heavily by critical deadlines on a daily basis. Strong attention to detail and
accuracy is a must and may not be compromised. Heavy volumes of data entry expected.
 Assume additional responsibilities as needed
 Brokerage/financial services industry experience preferred
 In-depth knowledge of different account registrations (i.e. retirement vs. non-retirement accounts)
and standard industry and tax treatment of accounts preferred
 Have an understanding of brokerage operations and managed accounts
 Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
 Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
 Knowledge of Pershing clearing systems, NetX360, Microsoft Office. Salesforce experience
 Excellent computer skills
 Must be a team player
