Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to become part of our team at our long-term care pharmacy location! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Fill and prepare medication in correct packaging type and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Label medication with correct label based on patient medication and information
- Monitor inventory of medications and supplies
- Must maintain positive attitude and strong work ethic as this is a fast-paced environment
- Help delivery manager process and fill all totes to be delivered to communities all over the Southeast
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
