Process Engineering Technician

We are currently seeking a Process Engineering Technician with expertise in nanofabrication technology. The technician will work closely with our team of Optical Scientists and Nanofabrication Process Engineers to drive the scale-up of novel near-eye display process technology. The position is a full-time contract position requiring a minimum of a bachelors in degree with a science emphasis or equivalent technical certification. Specifically, candidates should have experience running commercial scale fab equipment supporting pilot scale production, assisting with continuous improvement activities, executing job plans following SOPs and documenting activities and work flows. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic cross-functional team and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute SOPs on specific tools and tool sets according to schedule
  • Record relevant data, process data and assist engineering with run evaluations\
  • Make specific measurements for quality and process feedback
  • Assist with work station safety and cleanliness\
  • Assist with material management and material logistics
  • Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Support PM and repair activities
  • Support clean room and tool bring-up
  • Develop and support SOP creation and management

Skills: Must Have/ Non Negotiable

  • 2+ years experience in a relevant semiconductor fabrication field
  • Clean room experience to at least class 100
  • 2+ understanding of nanofabrication flows and materials

Nice to Have/ Wishlist

  • Experience with optics, and metrology process
  • Experience with process documentation
  • SixSigma Green Belt or higher

Education:

  • Bachelors in material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, physics
  • OR Associates with 4+
