Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer-New Position Due to Growth

Exciting role for an ambitious electrical engineering professional due to business growth in the aerospace division of a long established, global leading manufacturing company. Reporting to the Electronics Product Engineering Manager, review PCB fab drawings, PCB assembly drawings, and Electro-Mechanical drawings, and provide input to influence new product designs for manufacturability. Develop standard work packages, manufacturing instructions, and process specifications for electronic assemblies. Perform PFMEA and DFM to identify and mitigate process risks early in the design process. Coordinate design and procurement of assembly tooling, fixtures and work aides. Provide supplier management and development support for PCB contract manufacturers, including new supplier assessment, process development, assembly support, and source inspection. Team with engineers, technicians, program managers, suppliers, and customers.
$90,000 to $160,000 plus 5%, 10%, or 15% target bonus, depending on experience, and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of electrical manufacturing engineering experience. PCB Assembly, Electro-Mechanical Assembly, IPC and J-STD Specification knowledge. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience, electronics testing, and working in a development atmosphere experience are pluses. Must be U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.
